oz housing collapse: sell bank shares ?, page-4

I reckon most of the posts on the property threads are pure scarmongering these days. Kris Sayce is the master of spruiking stocks over property.
Overdone, overused cliches of pending doom.

Micheal above uses the words "avalanche" and "panic" to great effect...Matt747 uses scarmongering "visuals" in nearly every post??

    eg:
"this particular segment could be the start of an avalanche of selling

just like a rush on the banks in a panic to get your money out of a non-guaranteed deposit"

imo, sounds a bit overdone to me,

Now, what I don't understand is that the same is looked down upon on stock threads, but exactly the same thing goes on here in the property threads...but its ok?

that's why these property threads are now ruined imo.

    scarmongering

here is a post from Micheal telling people off for "scarmongering" because its a stock, well, all you have to do is change the word "stock" for "property" and you have a very interesting conundrum.

    so typical,

I see so many "no stock held" poster talking down this stock this morning

if its a bad company not worth investing in what are you here for? You have no stock and no intention to own any

why are you wasting your time here and not seeking out your next trade?

wouldnt your time be better spent looking for some other place to park you cash?

sorry but its really transparent, adding to the fear to drive the price down, waiting for the bounce

All you people are doing it are looking for re-entry at a much lower price, simple as that and it should be seen for what it is - why dont you just say it!

the dust will settle at some point before you start loading up again

and when your sentiment changes to buy, as it inevitably will, your reasoning to come back into the fold will be something like "its priced about right now, before it was expensive"

    ...

so, I'm interested as to why it's ok on the property threads to have "no stock held" and yet spend most days talking down an investment that is "not worth investing in"

and I quote Micheal Franz again

"why are you wasting your time here and not seeking out your next trade?
wouldnt your time be better spent looking for some other place to park you cash?"
