Now the euro has weakened, perhaps they will become affordable. However I think the quality/cheapness pendulum has swung too far to the price end. This has caused the price of raw materials to escalate as a product has to be made twice for a 5 year life. I can see a rebalace commencing in the next few years as people realise that a cheap product that doesn't last long is not cheap at all.
