ozemail bid??????

People Telecom have put a bid in for Ozemail. Optus
have put in a higher bid. Marland reckons its only round
one and People Telecom are serious bidders. I was
looking on Whirlpool thread for Ozemail and it said that
it had 440,000 accounts mostly dial-up . They valued
each account at $227 which comes to approx $100mill.
Apparently every service you have is another account.
So if you have Dial- Up, broadband, VOIP and wireless
you would have four accounts. In reality it is approx
half. This is still $50 million???? How would they pay for
it?
