Believe it or not so did my Dad.
Westpac nearly sent him bankrupt years ago.
He got out of it and ended up getting a great little retirement nest egg.
Got a huge out of the blue sale just before the bank was going to close the door.
The bank new the money was going to come in. It was a matter of when because the sale was done.
However much like OZL they wanted it now.
The money came in sooner than expected.
Agree CBA will do themselves a lot of damage if they let this go under.
Perhaps this might be also part of the reason they may be doing a back flip and changing their views.
