Why should the government bail out OZL's equity. If PH, century or whatever is a national asset then the government should only come in is when OZL is bankrupt, pick the assets for next to nothing and just make sure that all the workers keep their jobs hence cashflow in the community...this is the way to effeciently spend money
Why should they bother bailing out equity holders? I myself have lost money recently in the market but I do not look for the government to spend taxpayers money (myself being a taxpayer) to bail me out.
If people have lost money in OZL ...this is unfortunate and I express my sympathy...but its ridiculous that some are suggesting that the future fund should be used to bail out equity holders who are hurting.
Let me stress again that I too have lost money but its simply not fair to ask the nation to bail you out.
I made the investment call ....and if the loss happens...then its me alone that takes it
