During the first half of the year, as part of longer-term planning for deeper ore mining, OZ Minerals successfully conducted a blending trial, mixing Prominent Hill concentrate with that of a third party and on-selling the blend to an existing customer, proving the viability of blending concentrates. The quantity of third party concentrate purchased was 1,621 tonnes, containing 370 tonnes of copper, 193 ounces of gold and 62,100 ounces of silver and is included in the shipments listed above.

Could REX help out OZL with blending? OZL are looking to reduce/mitigate the concentration of uranium in their deeper ores and Carapateena deep ore through blending.

How much concentrate would REX have produced in their BFS processing pilot trials?
