It would be very easy from here on to play the three parties against each other & come up with the best deal for shareholders ... but no!
The way I see it, management are tired of fighting, they want to see the back of the hard times, and are will to take the first offer to relieve themselves of pressure.
Much easier to take the Minmetals deal. They will have divested themselves of half the work, still receive the same pay, Makemepoor can move onto his next rort ... and everything is sweet!
Except for shareholders, they get shafted!
