I do see that you pay more - Personally i had never noticed that - I presume that that is the same as the agent. I gave it a lot of thought and didnt mind that it was a slight premium - to close and open an account seemed like a lot of bother and in some ways I prefer to deal indirectly as that way if something happens on their side I have a company with insurance etc. Jumbo would have to fight on my behalf if anything happened or lose their entire business.
As regards cancellation - I am not sure that that is in the interests of Tatts I think they can both exist and if they close out Jumbo is that not a monopolistic act as Tatts have already acquired so much of this market.
Do see the risk however.
