Interesting things of note:
(1) Ticket sales (the blue line) for recent $15m jackpot is clearly higher than a $20m jackpot conducted 6 months ago.
(2) LFL jackpot draws are receiving more attention.
This second point is more easily demonstrated when we control for the jackpot draw size.
The growth in Ozlotto ticket sales is tracking at between 10-30% per year!!!
I do wonder what effect this will have on Jumbo's bottom line, how much is Jumbo investing in acquiring customers to grow sales at this rate? is it minimal and this is just the natural growth in the market?
