There is a serious move a foot in the Sattes and UK to do similarly. The rort of borrowing the stock from the average punters Super Funds needs curtailing...another thing I understand in the States is that Treasury has recommended that the Fed get unshackled from its master the indusrty itself and become truly independent. There are some wonderful house committee reports for those interested to see where this is going.

One was published by a Group headed by HSBC and Goldman's CEOs as to what the nature of the contagion was/is...the answer is pretty simple...if you are taking deposit money from the public, you can't be involved in in form of Futures or derivative's thereof - the issue is that the Wall Street cowboys know the Fed is the back stop so reckless behaviour is almost condoned...

On Oz Metals, do we see a bottom anywhere? Secondly, I have never held either of the antecedants, nor this todate. I am long on Gold and wondered if any on this thread know the exposure in the metal resources they have, their Gold resource? I expect that it is really an aside for them as the result Copper production, am I right?
