Dwwuuu - I agree that if it is a hedge fund investor it is a bit "rubbish". That is why my comment has been with aa negative tone. If it is a hedge fund investor then GNS management are scraping the bottom of the barrel if you like....massive dilution for shareholders.
I may be wrong but this is what I am hearing from my "sources" and have been hearing for some weeks now if you look at my posts on who has been buying the shares on market. GNS management have been offering themselves around the market on the condition that the new investor backs the management/pulp mill. That is a bad sign for existing investors.
I don't believe the investor is another forestry company or a private equity player but I may be wrong.
All we can do is wait and see..........but my feeling is that this is not a great outcome for shareholders as the new investor will own 30%+ of the company
