1) With depth we get more compaction of the sediments, so u r right porosity will decrese as they drill deeper. For this area, SctReef/Brck, its about 8-12% range for the 3 sands intvl's, albiet some sections a bit more then others.

2) Their estimates will change. Simple volumetric maths, if u increase the area covered by the reservoir & its thickness (so that is LxBxH), u'r increasing the volume as well, using the other variables like porosity, Net:Gross, Gas volume factor & overall recovery factor. KAR will not announce a higher figure till complete log data is available. IMO, 2P-7tcf is an understatement but am happy to see that for the time being.

3) The MDT tool meaasures the pressure between the pores & the permeability. So if pressure is high with decent permeability, these sands should flow. If they r tight, then one can fracc them or try something else like acid wash etc (i.e enhance the recovery, sorry not my area).

I do have a life outside HC, so have to juggle diff. balls like everyone else :)
