I think you are getting the two newsletters mixed up. I am a subscriber to ASCI and they definately have not told their subscibers to sell. Maybe ASR have? I subscibes to them once but I thought they were rubbish. ACI will be in it for the long run.
And I understand your call for people to do their own research but there are a lot of stocks on the Aussie market and only so much time for some people. I used to do a lot of research but I guess I got a bit burnt out by it all. Luckily I have found a few cheap subscriptions to point me in the right direction.
If I get tipped a stock I still do a lot of my own research on it, but it saves me a lot of time for a small subscription outlay. The ASCI subscription has been one of the best $300 I have ever spent.
