No argument that mining is a tough game...I'm well aware of that

"Everything else is a subjective assessment of management skill etc." Very true and clearly my assessment is not as positive as many others.

I keep harking back to the points raised in Ajostu's posts today. These must be areas of enormous concern, even for the most bullish of posters. They simply cannot be ignored.

I also periodically check the performance of the other ASX stocks which have many of the same players...I think it's fair to say that they have become a nightmare for their shareholders.

I agree that the quality of AVB's assets is superior ( hence my continued presence as a shareholder) but, as with Ajostu, I'm in AVB in spite of its management, not because of it.
