Hey, I would use trailing figures as they are real figures and not just projections (estimates), forward P/E's could also be useful in terms of comparisons between companies in relation to future growth or where past earnings are not found/applicable.
Two other listed childcare roll-up firms are AFJ and TNK - i think the sector has very strong prospects although i prefer AFJ to GEM.
Just my thoughts.
