"We've got some outstanding technologies that are going to result in new-to-the-world products very soon," McDonald said. "New categories. New brands. Just some unbelievable new technologies."
Surely we must be at a stage where the use of OBJ technology by P&G is "in the bag" so to speak. They would have dumped us by now if they didn't plan to use our tech.
"The broad range of products for which the OBJ technology is being evaluated..."
Our slice of the pie should be augmented even further if P&G uses our tech across multiple lines, new and existing.
The only thing as far as I'm concerned is not if we're going to get a deal with P&G, but when this deal will be announced. P&G management state "very soon". Personally I would be happy with a positive announcement some time next year. I think the general consensus is that there will be no significant share price appreciation until a deal is announced, and until then, we're in limbo, left to speculate amongst one another as to if/when a deal will be struck, and what such a deal will look like.
Of course there is always the possibility that nothing will eventuate from the technology evaluations, resulting in P&G and OBJ parting company. This lingering negativity, however small, is I'm sure at the back of every shareholders mind. However with the passing of each day I'm confident we move further from a negative outcome, and closer to a positive outcome. Logically, any current shareholder could not believe the otherwise, lest they be willing to leave their money invested in an increasingly risky and less likely to succeed venture.
As a long term holder the daily movement of the share price, and the perceived lack of PR in OBJ announcements is irrelevant, as what I (and I'm sure the majority of long term holders) am waiting for is that one announcement that outlines the details of a deal, the promise of the first stream of ongoing revenue that will propel the actual value of this company to a level that we all want and need it to be at. There are certainly interesting times ahead.
