Keep in mind if P&G did swoop in with an offer whilst OBJ is still it's taking baby steps, GSK wouldn't be happy with their potential product pipeline threatened and years of joint development perhaps wasted (and that thinking would apply to all our current partners).

However, down the track, when OBJ has GSK's products exiting the pipeline and into the marketplace - perhaps then GSK would have less to loose if a rival like P&G swooped on OBJ.

One scenario I see playing out way down the track is the company getting split - in its simplest form; one part devoted to OTC consumables (ie- the P&G/Coty type of products) - the other form devoted to pharmaceuticals (particularly the OTC variety).
