NoticesDepartment of Science, Industry and EmploymentAsturian Agency for Science, Business Competitiveness and Innovation (AGENCIa)Public Information: Project of Strategic Interest – Underground exploitation of the Salave depositBy the Agency for Science, Business Competitiveness and Innovation, and in accordance with the provisions of Law 7/2024, of December 20, of the Principality of Asturias on Projects of Strategic Interest, the actions assigned to the agency are being carried out in relation to the case file concerning the underground exploitation project of the Salave deposit.Accordingly, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5.4, second paragraph of the aforementioned law, when a project submitted for PIER (Project of Regional Strategic Interest) status is not in compliance with the current territorial or urban planning regulations, it must be submitted to public consultation for a period of twenty days.Therefore, the project may be reviewed on the Agency’s website www.idepa.es/agencia_sekuens for a period of 20 days starting from the day after this announcement is published. During this period, comments or objections may be submitted.
