I can remember coming to Brisbane from the country as a kid to visit relatives in the late 70’s. After a day in the city my throat was sore and raspy. Back in those days with lead in the fuel and primitive emissions controls I guess the quality of the air was pretty poor. Thanks to modern vehicles and stricter pollution controls the air in Brisbane is of a better quality in my experience. With more EV’s on the inner city roadways it can only get better.
