I suppose P1 could have put in cash, or allowed its name to be used because of P1's status in the world of show business. Neither of these explanations seems likely.
Perhaps P1 has put in production talent. I think this is the most likely explanation. Much of the spruiking on Facebook's Priority One page is being done by a John Barresi. His email address can be used to apply for complimentary tickets to tonight's Chaka Khan event.
Now in his LinkedIn entry, a John Barresi of Melbourne describes himself as a Character Actor/Comic, Producer/Writer. There is a photo of him associated with this LinkedIn entry.
A photo at http://www.youtube.com/user/JohnBarresi shows the same guy. He uploaded the video clip 'Noir Final Ultra HD'. This video clip is referred to enthusiastically on Facebook's Priority One page.
So my conclusion is that P1, via John Barresi, helped in the production of tonight's event. Let's hope, for the sake of GCN, that there are more of these events.
