Good Oil,

I was told by the two most senior nido people (as in the very highest and the one who previously held that job) that Gindara was basically a Shell operation and that it is not Nido's strategy to operate anything.

Well, a month or so back it emerges that Mr DT is still at the helm, Nido will put it's own day and night supervisors on the rig and the only shell involvement is one single solitary drilling engineer...

Drilling G-1 should not be a problem but given Nido can't afford any problems... why take the chance?

There are a lot of "problems" at Nido and a lot of mistakes have been made - from the outside you can observe a few and the combined results of them are obvious... but without getting in there and reading exactly who did what and when it is hard to point the finger at anyone (except for Jocot and the board who have the ultimate responsibility).
