    They've mentioned that these sands confirm the extension & continuation of oil sands encountered at P10. This reservoir is new & is separate from the other sands seen in the SW area of this field. At the end of the day when one sits and calculates the OIP & recovery, these figures will b an added bonus to what was already known to them.

    They havent mentioned the areal extent of these sands yet, so I am a bit in the dark to calc a new figure yet. Still, going by 25m thkness and a few kilometres extension, one gets a decent size volume of HC bearing sands to throw into the model.

    We will have to wait till Jan when the nxt Qtrly comes out with revised figs. Certainly this puts a positive spin on the next well. I hope after P12, the momentum continues with the other prospects they have planned.

    It's big & if handled the right way will produce quite economically IMO, which is what the JV would want as well.
