Forgot to add, re: the gas sample/heavies.
Besides pressure readings on the flowtest, the purpose was to decipher the codensate:gas ratio (CGR)
AS per KAR's internal modelling they were after a CGR of 30+ bbls/mmcf, the low threshold is 19 bbls/mmcf & upper limit being 43 bbls/mmcf. See past archived presentations on their website.
In even simpler terms, full-fat or low-fat milk!!
They've got what they were after (close to full-fat) & COP-KAR should b pretty happy with that.
If the reservoir flowed 6kms's downdip & posed challenges esp. with permeability/blockages, COP will come up with a strategy to exloit the reservoir at the crest & ensure that this doesnt repeat again, ofcourse at the end of the day one can do so much right. For now IMO, the operator should b happy. Mission accomplished.
That 1 gas sample & a windy woof of a flare with low Co2 was absolutely crucial to prove that HC's r moveble, given that they had none of this at P#1 or at Argus or Caswell next doors !!
Just my thoughts. Back to my bat cave.
