Just to reiterate, Omicron is highly transmissible . It does this by infecting us through our Ace2 receptors in the upper airway.
This study below affirms that the primary target is the Ace2 and that it should be our primary target for prevention of infection.
Monepantel achieved 99.5% reduction in viral burden in studies at WEHI and 360 Labs.
Monepantel is an mTOR inhibitor as well as reducing the later onset of inflammatory cytokines, that cause undue stress on the body by exposure.
We are close now.
PI3K/mTOR and topoisomerase inhibitors suggested as candidates to reduce expression of ACE2. Thomas 2020.
