Why stop at National borders?
I reckon we should ban interstate trade and migration too. Those damn Tasmanians and South Australians keep taking Sydney's call centre jobs. Ban banana imports from Queensland to support the Coffs Harbour growers. I'm going to stop getting car insurance from GIO and AAMI (SUN) to support my local NRMA (IAG).
Maybe we can allow some skilled migrants in, perhaps a few thousand teachers, doctors and engineers each year from Victoria. That's as far as I'm willing to allow it though.
