One thing in the recent report from them was the concern over number of pigs required for a future trial and ongoing if successful. When LCT sold the second farm ( before the 6 month results) I called the company about this . My concern was two fold. 1. Risk of only once source and 2. Scale if successful . I was advised by the company on point 2 that this would not be a concern with NTCell as it required a fraction of the number of islets to be farmed compared to the Diacebell treatment and that one pig could service a huge number of patients - sounds like this was misinformation.
