I believe there is a strong chance. When they model these deposits, they often assume continuity through to surface (especially when there is grade evident) but it is usually the zones closer to the surface that are less reliable. These zones can be subject to re-mobilisation, transportation due to weathering and many other factors. The rocks are also more friable and harder to control blasting.
I will wait patiently but in my mind, the fundamentals have not changed to a huge extent.
