I understand ‘Sentiment’ to mean Sentiment, not Advice. Consistent with HC rules, with one of the reasons for posts to be moderated being ‘Unlicensed Advice’, my declared ‘Buy’ sentiment is not intended as advice. I assume no one else here is licensed to give advice. This is why no ‘Don’t Buy’ option is available. According to the HC TOU the term ‘Sentiment’ is not open to interpretation.

I would not hold a stock that I was not prepared to buy. There are another 2,500 available opportunities on the ASX competing for my cash. So the ‘Buy/Held’ combination becomes automatic. Interpreted in context of the TOU a prolonged ‘Sell/Held’ disclosure just appears as an inability to make decisions.
