in my honest opinion the more banter and discussion on the critique of methodologies and approaches the better.

Surely we all recognise that we can understand a methodology, eg VSA, that much better if we try to pull it apart from the perspective of other approaches.

Hopefully no particular member takes it personally if they're an afficionade of a particular approach. For my part as someone who studies VSA, but who doesn't think its the "ONE" approach, I really enjoy redbacka's critiques and empricial views on volume.

IMO the power behind VSA is hard to deny, but on the flip side it's clearly myopic in its approach. Clearly there is some elegance and power in its simplicity, but also room for critique...
