Interesting to look back on the early exploration of Youanmi Shear Zone high grade gold discoveries similar to Paddy's Lode (and perhaps Midway). Penny North (Penny Gold Project) is one of these, currently with a Mineral Resource of 530,000t @17.2 g/t for 290,000 oz (September 2022). This is one of the world's highest grade gold resources.. Below are some of the early drilling results.
Below is an early cross section of Penny North. Note that the intersections vary greatly as they do at the Youanmi Main Lode. This is what should be expected at Paddy's Lode, some small and some large intersections with varying grades. The Youanmi Deeps main lode has some sections with no gold at all.. The strike length at Penny North is around 200m which has already been achieved at Paddy's Lode. However, with a true width of around an outstanding 8 metres Penny is wider than Paddy's at 3 - 8m but it's early days.
