Why would anyone be compensated?
Bad things happen. It’s all part of life, learning to deal with them. Emphasising a culture of victimism isn’t helping people to cope emotionally. Should we also be compensating people for traumas associated with deaths of a loved one, violence seen on TV, bullying at school?
