I exclude the lads at CSIRO, however, they are all funded by government money and are thus on government welfare just as are politicians and their staff, most doctors who use bulk billing system, pharmacists who are protected from competition and many other medical people all funded by government tax collected money. The govt allocates over $1.6 billion to only 8% of scientists who apply every year for research funding without much accountability agreements plus many genuine people leave millions in their estates for scientific research but over last 50 years billions spent on research to find cures yet most cures come from usa costing millions. Why?

SAS has produced a satellite program at little cost yet our govt wants to start a space program in Australia from the start at great cost? Give me a break guys. Ye, Government and the science lobbyists are lazy and dishonest imo. Australian scientists should relaise there are millions of highly qualified foreign scientists to our north who imo if employed using our limited resources could achieve faster results than we seeing in Aust and SAS proves my point very well.
