There is very strong support at 15 cents, and it looks to me like that is the bottom for now. There should be a number of announcements ofer the next week or so, including a report on the extension of the Phase 1 trial of AVC1 (high dose safety), and some form of advice on future plans and explanations in more detail regarding the fate of AOD9604.

As for ACV1, I'm posting a link I found on another website. This link leads to a University of Utah website where they trumpet research done there on ACV1 (they call it Vc1.1) and another very similar (maybe nearly identical) conopeptide from a different species of cone shell(RgIA) This research has been previously reported by Metabolic and is strongly predictive of the outcome of the present trials.

The fact that someone is working on a similar conopeptide may point to some patent protection action down the road, but as I understand it, the company is protected for all conopeptides in the ACV1 class. I don't think that other researchers can come up with a peptide from with virtually the same structure and mode of action, even if deriving from another variety of cone shell, without infringing the existing patents. In any case, these other researchers are years behind.
