Best thing you can do is block users with low content in their posts or who clearly are trolling or don't know what they are talking about. Don't block people who use sound arguments against what you think though, unless you only want confirmation bias from the board.
I imagine your post was in reaction to a few posters comments who I clearly have on ignore. My board is golden - balanced and informative.
