Can someone get treatment without seeing a doctor for the coughs the app is trying to identify? Im not sure if atleast in sydney we can get pneumonia medication or any antibiotics without seeing a doctor, who has to identify the cough themselves before providing prescription?

In reference to the manuel assessment it has to be there, it provides information you can't get just from a cough, what if you have a cough from breathing in dust that day, it needs to know?

As for APS, if the creator of the system participated in creating Painchek then the argument against the value of the facial assessment is not valid. It just doesnt make sense. She invented the system. She knows better than all of us and has given it a significant value in the process.

Im not sure how strong an argument against the weighting of the facial assesment can be.

An argument about other countries not using APS is almost confirmation bias, they dont use it because their healthcare system is not as good as ours, we are the amongst the leaders. Top healthcare systems from developed countries as ranked
