In Phil’s interview he said that when he met with Ken the question he was asked was “how much will it cost to have this implemented in all the facilities”... maybe not the exact wording.. Phil’s reply was $10m .. to which Ken responded with “see what you can do with $5m” hence the 100000 beds to start with.. I don’t expect the $5m be fixed annual I fully expected it to be increased to the $10m in time, which given the billions the government put aside for aged care is hardly a drop in the ocean. Note this was before all the extra funding aged care recently announced. This is my take on interviews and seminars I have attended where Phil has spoken about this.
