There's nothing mysterious about the stage of growth Painchek is in. We are in well into the process of crossing the adoption "chasm" in what is a very cautious industry, with a lot of potentially game-changing breakthroughs in the pipeline.

It's absolutely normal that relatively small number of leaders and "risk-takers" will trial and adopt early, and, when seen as successful, the scales tip and all the "followers" rush in. That's when you "cross the adoption chasm" and the seriously exponential stuff happens.....

Once the mob of sheep start moving and baaaa-ing, it takes a very brave or stubborn mammal to stray from the standard.

Ultimately the healthcare industry's instinct to caution will work in PCK's favour, as nobody will want to be open to accusations of malpractice or poor judgement.

The adoption curve is boilerplate marketing theory, that's been demonstrated time and again.

Having the government grant is simply brilliant - to turbocharge the early adoption process, and win market dominance, well ahead of any potential future competition. Speed to market dominance is everything in the fast evolving technology sector.

Naturally we're all impatiently gagging for the big win, and it worth reminding ourselves that PCK is doing exceptionally well in getting there.

Imagine what things would be like without our government turbocharger. Yes, our resident trolls could fill this thread with endless predictions of upcoming CRs, massive future dilution, cash starvation, financing death spirals, etc, etc, etc. and sound hugely more credible than they do now.

Yes, we are so much further ahead.

With all it's strengths and it's uniqueness, I'm very happy to bet that PCK will be at least embedded in many healthcare contexts, with ultimately potential to become a global norm across the healthcare industry.
