At least your comments show you have never used aps or abbey. Abbey has a set of scales, still a tad subjective. Painchek is different. Those scales are replaced with a simple set of yes/ no binary questions that anyone could answer with very little training or experience -> nice objective yes/no observations and result.
Stop wasting time on something you don't understand.
Abbey likes this because it sorts the grey areas in her older tool.
A verbal answer is nice, but some people's 20 out of ten is solved with a panadol, while some with 2/10 are just stoic and really need more... this tool helps get it right for all.
