Hi,
From an initial google of PAINAD it would appear that it is entirely dependant upon the assessment of the user, if so I would envisage that the accuracy would be biased either way based on the skill sets of the user.
If that is correct I would hazard a guess that Paincheck is more reliable and not subjected to a human's estimate.
Happy to hear further thoughts.
PS- as a person with dementia, and not sounding derogatory to medical staff, I would prefer an assessment via PCK.
