At the end of December 2019 Painchek had 9800 implemented beds, of which some would have been migrated from outside the grant to inside the grant.

So if you assume all those beds needed to revert to a paid place following the grant in the last quarter then 9800 X $48 is $470k.

Clearly this was not received (as an annual payment) but also clearly 9800 beds didn't fall off the system.

I think it's likely that the government grant beds have been extended somehow so as not to expire while the trial is still ongoing. Maybe there is an arrangement being worked on with government or PainChek have gifted some free time while they try to implement and get the trial working at full swing.
