I too attended the seninar put on by Dementia Australia. It was amazing at the end during the Q and A on PainChek. A head Nurse from a major hospital got up and said congratulations this is what we have all been waiting for. As nurses and Carers we go to the doctors and suggest this patient needs help as they are in pain only to be sometimes ignored. This is the very first time Pain can be correctly identified and DOCUMENTED and can categorically provide proof of a patient in pain not only in the moment but then record it to provide a history of patient care and outcome.
