Given the above article, I think it is time to re-visit this visionary video from Painchek: AI Technology redefining pain assessment

This is probably sometime into the future, but I am sure it will happen. And it will go a long way to helping resolve a lot of aged care issue with regards to pain management. On the video at around 1 min 20 sec onwards, it shows continuous scanning of people faces for pain waiting at a hospital. Well, this can be implemented in all aged care facilities and in all rooms so that regardless of when, anybody in pain will be detected and a carer will be dispatched promptly. Same tech can simply be applied in all hospital settings, homecare setting, etc. I believe that is the future to come.
