This just means around 100 children who were currently in hospitals having painful procedures done, were then chosen to partake in the trial. It doesn't mention anything about time frames but the official pck announcement on 2 July 2019 said that the study would commence within days of that date so likely there has been progress on having 100 kids chosen and they could be onto getting all of sample of trial data.
