I'm actually not excited by Phillips. I'm excited by the prospect of a deal don't get me wrong but I can't see how they'll implement the app in anything Phillips has on market. the vitals monitoring equipment everyone uses from Phillips have no cameras and no real way to implement pain monitoring. I've seen a few being patched into the electronic medical record of patients to automatically log vitals but we're a ways off from implementing this sort of thing.

also I've looked at some of the other properties Phillips is looking at, and they are really implementable. some are basic algorithms that will constantly differentiate diagnostic potential via contemporary vital signs. that's dope and super easy to patch into their stuff already.

so genuinely hopeful but I've no real confidence. I have more confidence in the children's app and I'm still not all on that.
