Sabine, in our litigious world where the medical profession and all its satellites are the most attacked industries for mammoth class actions the easiest way to win such actions is to prove negligence by not following accepted procedures. It is the (following of) PROCEDURES that thwart such litigious actions. Right now we have the ABBEY way of deducing pain and the prescription of medications...subjective in the extreme.

Introduce technology where the human bias and error is largely removed and records are digitally held and examined against literally millions of past situations you have a much more reliable and provable system. Surely this would mean that the extremely high costs of professional negligence insurance could be reduced as would the massive costs and payouts due to negligence and class actions.
