In order to make global reach and do so with haste they definitely would want such a deal, but yes we wouldn't want to get the short end of it. I do think the synergies are so good that there are much better chances than not. Definitely if they do not deal, it would be a huge let down given how many pieces have come together around it.
Their recent deal... Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in health technology, and Inspira Health (Inspira), today announced a strategic 5-year partnership agreement worth USD 50 million to standardize patient monitoring and drive innovation in diagnostic imaging solutions in order to enhance patient care and improve clinical workflow performance.
The goals seem so much in alignment around what PCK and Philips are aiming for, it will be a very interesting Q1 2020... when there is an update around this.
