It is a little worrying that the validation studies and finalization of the childrens app could be pushed out by more than 6 months at this stage...possibly more. Indicates that there could be some difficulties in development or accuracy levels which I would understand, significant app they are developing here and accurate pain detection levels could be very hard to achieve in infants. Also have a but of machine learning involved and a different product for the different age groups to be released. Still think they will get it done, just think it could take longer than even the updated timeline released this year. Market will be a lot bigger than for the dementia app though so many will be waiting updates on the successful/unsuccessful detection rates for the infant version before taking or reducing a position. GLTAH on a real good thing here!
