Thought readers would be interested in this. I work for St John in WA where we are the statewide ambulance service.
Speaking to one of our ambulance officers, they often attend patients and are required to administer pain medication. Of course they come across more verbal, but also many non-verbal patients.
Painchek could play a part in the first responder world, reduce the addicts chasing meds but help to spot those who may actually need pain medication!
