The misinformation here is staggering.
There are FDA regulated investigators around the world. Globalisation of clinical trials has increased significantly along with the number of non-US based investigators.
Trials need to comply with international standards. And even when this isn’t the case, there are other provisions that the FDA reviews.
There is no blanket requirement to do trials in the US.
