Okay, here is the situation with your free attaching options:
- Unlisted means they're not registered through your broker. They are issued directly by PainChek.
- You will find them on the share registry, which is investorserve.com.au a service of Boardroom Limited. Your options will have a string of digits displayed underneath. This is your SRN (Shareholder Register Number), which is what you get instead of a HIN for issuer-sponsored units.
- If you're desperate to sell them now, you can ask your broker to find you a buyer for an off-market transfer. They won't be worth much because they're still below the water line, meaning it costs more to convert them into shares than the resulting shares are worth.
- To exercise the options (i.e. convert them into shares) you will have to pay 5c per option directly to PainCheck. Use the contact form on the website to request details for exercising the options.
- Once the options are converted they will still (probably) be issued against your SRN. You must transfer them to your HIN using a form downloaded from Investorserve before you can trade them through your broker.
If you don't have 5c per option in free cash, you can sell some of your PCK shares on the market and use that money to fund your options. Or you could exercise what you can afford, sell them at the going market price, exercise more, and so on.
You don't have to continue to hold your PCK shares in order to exercise your options. The options are your property now.
